These are the daily supplements I use. Zinc and probiotics are especially important during flu season.
Multivitamin: I can't take vitamins with iron because I feel sick when I do. So this one doesn't have iron. They also make this same brand with iron.
Zinc: This is crucial for good immune function. Most of us don't get enough zinc because we are imbalanced with the amount of copper we consume daily (copper pipping, copper cookware, etc...). If you have a sweet craving after you eat, you are probably zinc deficient. If you are getting sick a lot, you are probably zinc deficient. If you have acne, you are probably zinc deficient. If you drink alcohol often, you are probably zinc deficient. If you have any kind of skin issues, you are probably zinc deficient. So, boost your immune system by taking some zinc.
Fish Oil: We are all imbalanced with our omega-3 fatty acids and our omega-6 fatty acids, so taking a fish oil is important to balance our bodies.
Vitamin C: We don't get enough in our diet. This is a great supplement daily, and can be taken hourly when you are sick. You know you have reached your tolerance level when you have loose bowels.
Probiotics: Remember eighty percent of our immune system is in our gut; so keep it healthy.
